Earing, earings a world of earings!

Yet again a very late post. Unfortunately I have no internet connection these days, and will be a while before I start blogging as frequently as I used to.

Let me go straght in to the point of this post (I would burst if I don't). I am starting a side business.

Do you remember the earings I've made for the Townhall at Office and the Dancing Examination? I decided to make more of them and make some money out of it.

Girls, how meny times have you found your self wondering "Where would I get the perfect pair of earings for this outfit?" or thinking "No earing matches this dress the colors are all wrong" or "Why aren't there earings to go with all these colors in my dress". Well all that worry will be gone, when my stuff comes in to the market. Coz they are made out of cloth and it is not going to be very hard to match to your outfit. Here is a sneak peak of what you will get in the near future. Make sure you pick one up, if you come across them in a store. For you self, Girlfriend, Mother, Sister any one who would like to have one.

I am assuming that you are intersted in hearig (reading) about how I got this Idea (let me tell you even if you are not interested ;-) ).

It started with the Townhall at office. It was a "last minute shopping for the out fit" occation. So we (Mom and I) bought a Saree, but couldn't find a satisfactory pair of earings. Since there were some extra material from the blouse piece, I decided to make them my self. They were a hit! I got a few good complements and most importantly I was satisfied with them. They were just perfect for the occation. The second pair came about with the Dancing Examination. I didn't have a pair of earings, that suited the occation and matched the Blouse Mom made for me or the Skirt. So I did the same as earlier. Only diference is that this time I used a pair I already had along with the cloth from the blouse. This encouraged me to make a third pair that I loved and lost (one earing). It was the fourth one that made me want to do it as a business.

Not all the earings I make look normal. Some of them kind of look like the designer wear we see on TV ;-) (I think!). What I mean is that they look good but you will think twice before actually picking them up coz they are kind of unusual. Only one way to find out if you would actually like them. Put it out in the market.

I am still in the process of making the lot. I need to figure out a name for the brand. Should I categorise them? that is some thing I am still wondering. The initial lot will have hand written lables as it is cheeper and gives a personalised look and feel to it. Because that is what they are all about to look custom made.

I have a lot of future plans for these including a showroom only for earings. That has to wait. Got to go now, have a date with a pair of earings!
